The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) empowers students and parents to gain the knowledge and resources needed to succeed in higher education by providing support services and scholarships to outstanding students, scholarship recipients and ex- possible alumni.

Founded in 1975, HSF is committed to making higher education a priority for every family across the country, mobilizing communities to proactively advance that goal, every individual, throughout their lives, in every way possible. HSF also seeks to give its scholars all the tools they need to succeed in their studies, graduate, enter and excel in a profession to help advance our nation and mentor generations to come. As one of the country’s leading non-profit organizations, HSF has
has awarded more than $730 million in scholarships and provides a wide range of programs and support services to students, parents, HSF scholars and HSF alumni.

Hispanics are a highly educated and influential community of bold, successful and positive leaders in all fields of a strong American society, from science and technology to entertainment, from finance to government. Those participating in this new American scholarship have been personally touched by the extraordinary work of the Hispanic Scholarship Fund.

As an HSF Scholar, you will have access to HSF’s valuable Scholar Support Services and will be eligible to receive a scholarship, subject to available funding. Each year, HSF selects 10,000 outstanding students as HSF Scholars from a large and talented pool of applicants.
HSF Scholars have access to a full range of invaluable Scholar support services, including career services, mentoring, leadership development, knowledge development and wellness training.
Career services which include access to internship and job opportunities selected by HSF’s corporate partners.

HSF members are eligible to apply to all Fellows Conferences, including the STEM Summit, the Finance Conference, the Media and Entertainment Summit, the Entrepreneurship Summit, and the Health Summit.
Exclusive access to HSF Insiders who share valuable insights and career opportunities. Finally, and most importantly, HSF awards more than $30 million in scholarships each year and, depending on available funding, HSF Scholars may be eligible to receive a scholarship of $500 to $5,000 and given directly to students

Eligibility for Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF)

  1. Must be of Hispanic origin
  2. US citizen, lawful permanent resident or DACA
  3. Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for undergraduate students; minimum 2. 5 GPA on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent) for undergraduate and graduate students
  4. Plan to enroll full-time at an accredited, public or nonprofit, four-year university or graduate school in the United States for the 2024-2025 academic year
  5. Submit FAFSA or state financial aid forms (if applicable)
