Earning an international degree can be expensive. However, there are many scholarships available for international students who want to study in Canada with little or no financial burden. These scholarships are funded by the government, universities, and private organizations.

Undergraduate Scholarships in Canada for International Students:

UBC International Leader of Tomorrow Award

The University of British Columbia (UBC) also offers the UBC International Future Leader award. The University of British Columbia (UBC) offers more than $30 million in awards, scholarships, and financial aid to international students. After receiving an offer of admission to UBC, students are automatically considered for performance-based awards.

Dalhousie University scholarships

Dalhousie University Scholarships are full scholarships for international students. This scholarship provides the opportunity for a fully funded undergraduate program. The scholarship is worth $30,000 and includes a monthly stipend, accommodation, a stipend and health insurance.

The University of British Columbia (UBC) offers UBC Undergraduate Scholarships. The University of British Columbia (UBC) offers more than $30 million in awards, scholarships and financial aid to international students. After receiving an offer of admission to UBC, students are automatically considered for performance-based awards.

McGill University Scholarships

McGill University Scholarships are scholarships for international students, including students pursuing undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs. The scholarship offers up to $8,500 for undergraduate students, while smaller scholarship amounts are also offered for masters and doctoral students. D.

Humber International Entrance scholarships

The Humber College Entrance Scholarship is a full scholarship for international students. It is available for undergraduate and graduate degrees. One full-tuition scholarship and one $5,000 scholarship will be awarded in January, followed by seven $5,000 scholarships and two $3,000 scholarships in September.

Global Excellence Scholarships

The Global Excellence Scholarship is offered by University College Dublin (UCD) in Ireland.

University College Dublin (UCD) in Ireland is one of the world’s leading universities and a popular university for Irish international students. UCD offers the Global Excellence Scholarship to international students (non-EU currencies) who start their studies at UCD in September each year. To apply for the Global Excellence Scholarship, students must first have an offer (or conditional offer) to study on a suitable course at UCD.

University of Waterloo scholarships

The University of Waterloo has over 170 scholarships for international students, ranging from $1,000 to $40,000.

University of Manitoba

The University of Manitoba awards more than $35 million in grants and scholarships to students each year. International Scholarships for Students Recognize students’ best achievements. To qualify, students must have a valid work permit, complete at least 24 credit hours, maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA in their third year, and remain enrolled full-time in school. Qualified candidates will be notified by the end of July.

York University scholarships

The York University Scholarship is a fully funded opportunity for international students to study at the undergraduate level in Canada. Recipients receive $35,000 per year; the award value is $140,000.

University of Saskatchewan Undergraduate Scholarship

The University of Saskatchewan Scholarship provides scholarships and financial support to students starting the new year of their university education and to new students starting undergraduate programs.

University of Toronto Scholars Program

The University of Toronto Scholars Program recognizes U of T students and offers 900 introductory awards worth $10,000. These awards are automatically awarded to both domestic and international high school students based on their GPA at the time of admission. Please note that applicants with post-secondary education are not eligible for U of T Think.

Douglas College International student scholarships

Douglas College International Student Scholarship is for international students pursuing post-secondary education. This scholarship covers 100% of the tuition fee (this scholarship costs a maximum of CAD 7000 in tuition fees) and is awarded to a maximum of 5 eligible students per academic year.

University of Winnipeg Scholarships

The University of Winnipeg offers special international admission scholarships to new international students who begin their studies at the University of Winnipeg in the academic year following their graduation from high school outside Canada.

Calgary international Entrance Scholarships

The University of Calgary offers the Calgary International Entrance Scholarship, an annual scholarship for international students entering their first year of undergraduate studies in the fall. To be eligible for second, third, and fourth year extensions, recipients must have achieved a GPA of 2.60 or higher on a minimum of 24.00 units in the previous fall and winter semesters and continue to pay international tuition.
